Poor embryo development and spontaneous pregnancy among idiopathic infertile couples—an enigma to solve

Popis:	Poor embryo development (PED) causes cancellation of embryo transfer in 10% couples with idiopathic infertility and a tendency to repeat in 25% (20–30%) subsequent cycles. Utilization of ICSI does not rescue cycles for PED. There are 30% couples presenting with PED but achieving spontaneous pregnancies. The aetiology behind PED is still an enigma.
