Popis:	The structural behaviour of a sandwich panel depends critically on the geometrical relationships between face and core thicknesses and the span, and on the relative stiffnesses of the face and core materials. The number of combinations possible, and the complexity of the equations that sometimes emerge from analyses of sandwich behaviour, can make it difficult for the designer to decide which aspects of sandwich behaviour are important, and which can be neglected safely.
