Fabrication of Gd2O2S: Pr, Ce, F Scintillation Ceramics by Pressureless Sintering in Nitrogen Atmosphere

Popis: Gd2O2S: Pr, Ce, F ceramics with good scintillation properties were fabricated by pressureless sintering in nitrogen atmosphere. The effects of annealing temperature on the intensity of X-ray excited luminescence and light output were investigated. The light output strongly depends on the thickness of Gd2O2S: Pr, Ce, F ceramics. Thermoluminescence properties of the samples were studied after X-ray irradiation in the temperature range of 77–438 K.
