Popis: | The first part of the paper briefly compares the characteristic properties of different heat transfer fluids to show the advantages of sodium; the second part details design features of a small sodium heat transfer system, including the main components comprising receiver, steam generator, pumps, vessels, etc., on the basis of the CRS solar power plant at Almeria, Spain (IEA-SSPS Project); the final part indicates aspects of the scaling-up of such systems for larger solar power plants. |
