The purpose of this scoping review is to map the published literature on healthcare utilization with a focus on primary care health outcomes using health insurance or administrative claims data via predictive models. We will also map the published literature as it relates to the development of patient archetypes, from insurance or administrative claims data, to inform those models. The health outcomes of interest are those that could have been prevented or managed through primary care delivery, such as ACSCs including but not limited to metabolic or cardiac conditions. |
