Popis: | This paper presents a verification benchmark of the TRIPOLI-4 ® DARWIN-PEPIN2 coupling for performing radiological characterization of reactors in decommissioning phase. Computed activities were compared with measured activities included in the JPDR experimental program. A good agreement was found with a variability of about ± 30 % . In this study we also focused our work on the stochastic and ND uncertainty propagation which is often neglected in the inventory calculation dedicated to decommissioning. Activation cross section uncertainties contribute highly to the global uncertainty. The current benchmark exercise successfully validates the general computational procedure and gives access to a quantification of the activation uncertainties. |
