Popis: | A novel AC-DC ZCS-PWM interleaved boost converter is proposed in this paper. The converter uses just one active auxiliary circuit to allow all main converter switches to operate with ZCS; moreover, the auxiliary circuit also operates with ZCS. This circuit does not increase the peak voltage or current stresses of the main switches and does not have any components in the main power path of current, which results in improved light-load efficiency. The operation of the converter is fully explained in this paper, the features of the converter are discussed, and guidelines for the design of key auxiliary circuit components are given. The feasibility of the proposed converter is confirmed with experimental results obtained from a prototype converter. |
