Popis: | Tire - Pavement friction is one of the most important indicators in the transport safety field and also affects the design, construction, and maintenance of pavement and tire at all stages. Different parameters, independently or in combination with other cases, affect the Tire - Pavement friction. In this research, the effect of Four important factors (velocity, pavement texture, tread depth, and surface water flow) on Tire - Pavement friction, by using a locked wheel machine has been investigated. Also, the effect of changes in each of these variables on the friction amount simultaneously whit concerning the change of other variables has been studied. The results generally indicate the friction between the tires and a specific pavement could be reduced by up to 70% due to the changes in the different variables. Also, by using statistical analysis, the relationship between the variables that can affect tire- pavement friction, was presented as an equation with an appropriate level of significance. |
