Popis: | Hylcalosia Fischer, 1967, is a small braconid genus with 13 described species from the Oriental and Palaearctic regions. The genus is revised using morphological characters and a phylogenetic analysis of COI sequence data; GenBank accession numbers of fifteen sequences we generated from four species are included. Sixteen specimens from Thailand belonging to this genus were examined; five new species are described and illustrated, i.e., H. bothynis Yao n. sp., H. dichromata Yao n. sp., H. eurykephale Yao n. sp., H. leura Yao n. sp., and H. perkna Yao n. sp. A key to the species of the genus Hylcalosia is presented. |
