Popis: | This paper presents a small size V-band Antenna-on-Chip (AoC) with two switch controlled two triangular radiating patches designed and based on 0.18 um TSMC Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) process. AoC performance is enhanced using rectangular ring Asymmetric Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AAMC). A pair of on-chip switches is introduced in this design to achieve polarization reconfigurable. As AMC shields AoC from the lossy CMOS substrate, simulated gain enhancement of -1 dBi is achieved at 60 GHz for design rule compatible triangle AoC. By changing the state of the on-chip switches, X-polarization and Y-polarization. |
