Popis: | The synthesis of (C6F5)2IF and (C6F5)3I was achieved by using C6F5IF2 as a synthon in fluorine aryl substitution. The new compounds which are stable at room temperature were analytically and spectroscopically characterized. Initial findings of their reactivity will be discussed. C6F5I(O)F2-synthesized by fluorine-oxo substitution on C6F5IF4-reacts with Lewis acids forming the electrophilic species [C6F5I(O)F]+. Among other reactions, electrophilic substitution reactions on aromatic compounds will be reported in detail. New results of fluorine aryl polysubstitution reactions on C6F5I(O)F2 and C6F5IF4 will be also presented. |
