ESR dating of molluscs — is it only a 'shell game'?

Popis:	The ESR dating of molluscs has been extended to terrestrialgastropods from two sites in the Missisippi Valley, USA. The sites have been dated by other methods, although one is not definitively characterized. ESR results showed good agreement with the well-dated site, and suggested the younger of two options for the other site. In addition, the ESR spectrum of these species shows some interesting new features.
