Popis: | The paper presents a case study of plasma deposition with the help of a plasma torch PNK-50 from YSZ powders with a size of 20–60 µm. Estimates were obtained for the velocity and temperature of the plasma flow, as well as of the sprayed particles for the operating regimes of the plasma torch, differing in the diameter of the exit nozzle (8 and 10 mm) and the flow rate of the plasma gas (1.25–2.5 g/s). The characteristics of coatings obtained in spraying regimes differing in the velocity and temperature of the plasma flow, powder size, and substrate heating conditions are investigated. It is established that the porosity of the coatings produced under usual spraying regimes is 10–15%. Additional heating of the substrate up to 300 °C makes it possible to reduce the porosity of the coatings to 6.6%. |
