Popis:	In March 2014, V.I. Yakunin, president of JSC Russian Railways, spoke at a meeting of the RAS Presidium and presented the Trans-Eurasian Razvitie Belt megaproject as a new focus to generate public wealth not only for Russia and adjoining countries but feasibly for the whole world. The RAS Institute of Economic Forecasting and the RAS Institute of Sociopolitical Research participated in the development of this project. Below is an account of the paper and its discussion.
