The Dynamic packaging concept has been created to improve the communication with the consumers, who are eager for information and which has been limited due to the lack of human interaction as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic, making it more effective and interactive. The Internet of things and the new cyber technologies that are available nowadays play an essential role in the development and implementation of these new virtual bridges and have enabled an improvement on the quality and assertiveness of virtual communication. The most important element of this proposal is the creation of a virtual interface between the product maker and the consumer through the packaging. This virtual interface allows the product maker to provide information that cannot be included directly on the package or the label. The new Dynamic packaging proposal is possible thanks to “QR” codes and “Augmented Reality”, which through smart devices, are able to offer additional information to the consumer, on a remote and interactive way, offering the consumers new ways of satisfying their communication needs, adding value to the product and transforming the whole shopping experience. There are clear advantages that prove this new packaging concept will revolutionize the shopping experience we have nowadays. |
