Interface Motion of β-Silicon Nitride in a Liquid Phase

Popis: Morphology evolution of β-Si3N4 grains on the end caps has shown significant dynamical features. It has been observed the (0001) growth front experiencing a shape transition on the caps from semisphere to negative-curved configuration. After our previous simplified solution, in this paper, the finite element analysis method has been used to further simulate the tip evolution for the hexagonal β-Si3N4 grains.
