Popis: | New technologies have influenced the development of e-learning systems, especially in terms of improving the learning process and more efficient knowledge acquisition by adapting to the mental model of a user. One of the solutions for complexity of designing such systems is the integration of multi-agent technology into e-learning systems. A multi-agent system is a group of independent agents which come up with an optimal solution through mutual communication. This paper defines and explains the concepts related to agents and multi-agent systems in e-learning and presents an overview of the research in the context of multi-agent system application in e-learning with emphasis on the types of agents. |
