Popis: | In fibre-optic evanescent wave absorption in spectroscopy and sensors, both meridional and leaky skew rays contribute to absorption of the evanescent wave. This paper presents a whole view of the absorption of evanescent wave in fibre-optic evanescent wave absorption spectroscopy and sensors. Results of this study show that previous models of evanescent wave absorption based only on meridional rays overestimates the absorption of fibre-optic evanescent wave absorption spectroscopy and sensors. |
