Popis: | Material supplier selection is very important and crucial in supply chain management. Material is that which is responsible for the final product quality. But selecting the right material supplier is difficult with an unclear framework and depending on the form of supplier. As in the case of “surfactants” in laundry powder used as the primary ingredients. The selection of the right material supplier for the production of “surfactants” is also an essential choice, which may impact costs, quality and efficiency. Many considerations such as material quality, expense, timely arrival, consistency, etc. should be included in the phase of making a decision about the choice of material supplier. From that point, the issue of choosing suppliers is a question of multi-criterion decision taking due to the presence of different variables. Numerous methods of Multi Criterion Decision Making (MCDM) have been developed to take care of this problem. Five suppliers were regarded as alternatives in this paper for evaluation and selection based on 14 successful parameters using Fuzzy Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (FTOPSIS). |
