Basic optical property of Tm-doped oxyfluoride vitroceramics and glass

Popis: The transparent rare-earth ion doped oxyfluoride vitroceramics is a new kind of nanometer material, whose structure was thought comprised of fluoride microcrystals in an oxide glass matrix. It may have not only high up-conversion efficiency but also good material property. This paper studies the optical absorption and emission properties of the Tm3+-doped oxyfluoride vitroceramics (FOV) and glass (FOG).
