Popis: | A total of 44 adolescents wIth moderate to severe physical disabilities, between 11 and 14 years of age completed an intervention designed to facilitate the emergence of autonomous behaviors The intervention included an adolescent interpretive interview, a teaching physical exam, individual and group health education, social skills development (assertiveness training, role-playing, and peer activities), and structured experiences with disabled adults from a local independent resource center. |
