Popis: The pursuit of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine is to regenerate functional tissues and organs to replace damaged or diseased tissue. As a basic element of tissue engineering, scaffolds provide three-dimensional structure for cell growth while maintaining cell function, so the selection of scaffold materials is of great importance. Natural extracellular matrix is a potential therapeutic material because it is a naturally structured non-cellular tissue component with low immunogenicity, high biological activity, and can provide a unique microenvironment for cells. In addition, acellular materials can not only provide chemical and mechanical signals that determine the fate of cells, but also act as components of newly formed tissues, promoting damage repair. This chapter will focus on the repair ability of acellular materials in different tissues, and provide reference for the experimental research and development of different tissue repair materials and their clinical application.
