Popis:	A 43-year-old woman underwent hemodialysis for excessive ingestion of a number of drugs including chlordiazepoxide hydrochloride (Librium), barbiturates, ethchlorvynol (Placidyl), and alcohol. During the dialysis the patient improved, and the plasma level of chlordiazepoxide decreased, which suggested that hemodialysis can be used to remove this drug from the body.
