The report addresses issues of improving heat supply systems efficiency, including that of heat pumps, due to the principle of heating energy accumulation. Accumulation occurs in compact heat accumulators and is based on the effect of the phase transition of various substances, such as paraffin or Glauber's salt. Heat accumulator power used for heating is determined by the area in the bottom of the heat exchange the accumulator. The optimal accumulator hot water capacity is a power required for the draw from one tap. The proposed heat accumulator consists of two parts, upper and lower. The bottom of this accumulator has the heat accumulating material having a low melting point and a high latent heat of phase transition (such as Glauber's salt). The top of the accumulator has a material with a high melting temperature, but the low phase transition temperature. |
