Monitoring project material circulation defines as a system to monitor incoming and outgoing materials in the project warehouse to avoid errors or fraud during ongoing projects. The problem appears during ongoing project is the difficulty in creating a circulation material report due to inaccurate data, difficulty monitoring direct inventory, and fraud during the material request process, difficulty checking the quality of requests with the project plan. The purpose of this study is to design and build a project monitoring system that provides information on the material's flow in and out of the warehouse. Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach is used as a method including planning, analysis, design, and implementation. System evaluation is based on performance effectiveness and efficiency, ease of use, and flexibility. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used as a tool to design monitoring project material circulation system. The result of this study produces a project monitoring system that can handle many projects in monitoring material circulation, such as the project management process, demand and procurement process, and material management in several warehouses. The project monitoring system is expected to minimize system management errors, speed up project monitoring time, provide accurate material's circulation information, and minimize the occurrence of fraud and loss of project material. |
