Popis: The article considers youth non-profit organizations as a specialsocial institution of civil society. Youth and non-profit organizations, asintermediate institutions, help in solving public problems, actively interacting withgovernment authorities and business. The peculiarity of youth organizations fromNPOs is to unite the desire of young people for self-actualization, and the formativeefforts of society and the state to mobilize, manage and control young people ina socially desirable and socially acceptable direction. The article examines thepeculiarities of changing the direction in the activities of youth organizations dueto the preponderance of value orientations towards the state, the market, as wellas towards the social sphere. The analysis of existing Russian youth associationsis given. Attention is focused on the change in the ways of the emergence of suchorganizations in recent years. The main activities of the state power aimed at thedevelopment of demiurgeous and creative activity of the younger generation, theimplementation of youth initiatives are outlined. Examples of the implementationof youth policy in Russia and foreign countries are given, as well as the result of active cooperation in the field of support for youth non-profit organizations.
