Popis: | Bharangin ( 1 ) analogues, bharangi-γ-lactone ( 2 ) and bharangi-δ-lactone ( 3 ) were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of the root nodules of the indigenous medicinal plant Pygmacopremna herbacea (Roxb.) Moldenke (Gantubharangi). Compound 3 was also prepared from bharangin by treating with 2 N KOH in methanol at room temperature. The structures of the compounds were established by means of spectral data analysis, including high field 2D NMR studies. |
