Popis: | It is shown that the primary rate enhancement mechanism due to organic acids such as camphorsulfonic acid in nitroxide-mediated polymerizations involves the consumption of nitroxide radicals. The lower nitroxide concentration affects the equilibrium between growing and dormant chains, increasing the number of growing chains and hence the polymerization rate |
