| Popis: | The importance of seaports in the national and international economic scene is no longer in doubt. It has thus become obvious for them that their efficiency, and even their sustainability in a world of fierce competition, strongly depends on the optimisation of the input-output ratio. The question of assessing port efficiency is becoming increasingly important in the port sector, as investments in this sector are huge but performance will not always depend on them. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to assess the efficiency of the seaports of Tangier Med, Durban, Mombasa and Abidjan while using the non-parametric enveloped data analysis (DEA) approach.
