Popis: Destructive testing of components in order to determine their statistical life time behaviour is a very important basis of todays engineering. Resonance based testing systems offer a wide scatter of opportunities for a more efficient testing procedure, as there are reduction of testing time or a reduced energy consumption. By means of modern closed loop control systems in addition with resonance testing systems fatigue tests under variable amplitude loading (random tests) become possible. To obtain more reliable S-N-curves a new procedure is introduced.
