Popis: This Letter describes a novel synthetic approach towards imidazo[1,2- a ]pyridines via a three-component condensation using trimethylsilyl cyanide (TMSCN) or cyanohydrins as the source of CN − ions and silica-sulfuric acid as the catalyst.
