Popis: Comparisons are made between residues of succinic acid-2,2-dimethylhydrazide (daminozide) in spurs of ‘Delicious’ in the dormant season in North Carolina and in New York. In North Carolina daminozide residue resulting from early season application was dissipated by the end of December and little or no carry over effect was noted in the succeeding crop. In New York a similar early season application may result in significant levels of daminozide in spurs in December.
