Popis: Due to the unpredictability of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the effect that this has had on teaching, the aim of this work was to find an effective method of developing instructional materials which could easily be transferred for use in either on-site or distance learning. For this purpose, an online presentation slides application - Google Slides - was employed as a tool and as a platform to create an online learning package, which was then used to provide a distance instruction in a laboratory course at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Silpakorn University, Thailand. It was found that Google Slides could be used to effectively and attractively deliver content and various learning activities to students, enabling anywhere-and-anytime individual self-study, as well as encouraging collaborative group work. In addition, online discussion between teachers and students that the application enabled, facilitated close and interactive guidance as well as formative assessment. From a survey carried out, most students responded that they were satisfied with studying through the Google Slides learning package. Teachers also agreed that Google Slides was an interesting and easy tool for use in developing a learning package. Therefore, simple online presentation slides can easily be transferred to provide an effective platform for the preparation of a laboratory learning package.
