impact of remittances on economic growth in Republic of Kosovo

| Popis: | In the following analysis, a much debated topic has been analyzed with regard to remmitances and economic growth in Kosovo. The study is based on time series, quarterly data over the period 2010-2021. The methodology applied in the study is based on utilization of unrestricted VAR model and Granger Causality/Block exogeniety Wald test, in order to explore the direction of the causality between variables. Results show that there is bi-directional causality between remittances and economic growth in Kosovo in the short-run. |
