Popis:	Oral cavity is the mirror of body health and disease and the relationship between oral and systemic health is multi-faceted and reciprocal. In fact, many systemic conditions could manifest in the oral region, sometimes prior to their diagnosis. Dentists are physicians of the oral cavity and a holistic approach to patient assessment can guide dental providers in differentiating between oral abnormalities of local and systemic origin and deciding on appropriate management.
