Popis: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the most adaptable synthetic polymer. Starting with the base polymer that is heat and UV light sensitive and relatively brittle, compounders can produce articles ranging from soft (“soggy”) fishing lures to hard, rigid, high impact building materials. This tremendously wide spectrum of products is made possible through the addition of stabilizers, lubricants, plasticizers, and polymeric modifiers.
