Popis: | The influence of the conditions of irradiation on the distribution of 32P and 35S atoms amongst their different valency states has been studied. Prolongation of the irradiation decreased the 32P and 35S activity in the hypophosphite and sulphide fractions, respectively. The reduction and subsequent oxidation processes of both products during post-irradiation thermal annealing are enhanced by increasing duration of the neutron irradiation. Some differences in the behaviour of 32P and 35S in lightly irradiated samples have been observed. The influence of light on the distribution of both products has been investigated. |
