Popis: | A study was made of the effects of prolonged physical exercise (90 min at a power of 17 kgm min–1 kg–1) on plasma free fatty acids (FFAs), blood Ca2+, oxygen consumption (OC), and body temperature of endurance-trained athletes and untrained subjects. The athletes displayed correlations between afterload plasma FFAs, OC, and changes in blood Ca2+ during exercise. Blood Ca2+ was shown to regulate the mobilization of lipids in the blood. |
