Popis: | Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have attracted quite concentration owing to their extensive potential applications. Traffic congestion, as well as energy lacking, is the major cause for breaking routing performance in WSNs. To resolve these challenges, this paper intends a novel routing strategy known as multipath routing strategy for reducing congestion (MPRC) in WSN. In this strategy, the traffic congestion is monitored by a congestion factor. This multipath routing strategy is used to select the congestion-free path. As a result, achieves decreased network overhead and increased packet delivery ratio. This work is simulated in NS-2 simulator, and the results show that MPRC strategy performs better than the baseline protocol. |
