Popis: Several controller design methods are discussed to control sampled processes. Discrete Youla parameterized controller design is shown to control stable processes. Smith predictor control and dead-beat controller design are also shown, which can be considered as special cases of Youla parameterization. The properties of these control algorithms are demonstrated through examples.
