Popis: | Distributed generator (DG) is widely used to fulfil additional power requirement and to improve the performance of the system. Distributed generator gives reliable and qualitative power. Islanding is a challenge for DG. It must detect islanding as soon as possible. Detection of islanding is needed to start necessary actions and to keep system healthy. Under voltage relay is provided to discover islanding. If measured voltage signal exceeds than threshold setting, then relay gives a trip signal. In this paper, one real system is analysed for islanding detection. After detecting islanding, backup DGs are started or load shedding is applied. Thus, critical load must be supplied after islanding detection. So, reliability of system is improved. |
