Popis: | We present a stochastic knapsack problem with the capacity following a mixed distribution. The problem is an optimization type where one has to maximize the profit of the content of the knapsack without exceeding the capacity of the knapsack and as such the cost is minimized. A mixture of Exponential and Poisson distribution was applied using the multiplicative approach of Mood & Graybill (2006). |
