Popis: A metaevaluation was conducted on the evaluation of a suicide prevention program focused on youth. This evaluation gathered input from users through responses and opinions about its content, usefulness and recommendations for improvement. The metaevaluation discussed in this presentation focuses on the following five questions: (a) What is the nature of the evaluation? (b) To what extent is the evaluation technically sound? (c) To what extent is the evaluation useful? (d) To what extent did the evaluation employ ethical procedures? and (f) To what extent were the evaluation methods practical? The purpose of this metaevaluation was to make a judgment, based on defensible criteria about sound and accountable contributions of an evaluation in a public organization, and to increase efforts to systematize future evaluation endeavors. Conclusions and implications are presented based on the analysis of this evaluation.
