Popis: | A specific feature of fractional slot windings is the harmonic composition of the magnetic field that contains a number of nonworking harmonics having adverse effects. We consider methods to improve the harmonic composition of the magnetic field in electric machines with fractional slot windings. A description of designs in which these methods are implemented is provided. Their efficiency is studied using a unified model of the electric machine with a winding in which the number of slots per pole per phase is q = 2/5. The considered approaches to improving the harmonic composition of the magnetic field of fractional slot windings are compared with each other and with the standard fractional slot winding. |
