Popis: The influence of temperature in the 4.2-293/sup 0/K range on the characteristics of fracture toughness (K/sub c/ and K/sub Ic/) and fractures of 12Kh18N10T, 07Kh16N6, and 03Kh12N10MT (VNS-25) corrosion-resistant steels and investigated. After heat treatment using the corresponding standard cycles 12KH18N10T steel had a structure of austenite with a small (about 1%) quantity of TiC carbide phase, 07Kh16N6 steel martensite + 20-30% austenite + M/sub 23/C/sub 6/ carbides, and 03Kh12N10MT steel martensite + 6-12% austenite + MC carbides. The structural changes in the specimen during deformation were investigated by metallographic, quantitative x-ray, and magnetic methods
