Moisture content, humidity, wind speed and temperature were measured by the monitoring system in order to analyze the energy change in the process of moisture migration and optimize the barn structure. The results showed that high water area concentrated in the west side of bottom in four barns. Absolute water potential and corn temperature were on the rise as the same as the drying rate. Wind speed and drying rate were all appeared a low value between January and February. Width size of barn caused the ventilation evenness, and corn equilibrium moisture content evenness in number 1 barn was lower than others. Ventilation evenness of number 4 was best but the drying rate was inferior to the number 3. In conclusion, the structure of the number 3 rectangle barn was more reasonable. |
