Popis: Online tutorials are part of the online learning assistance services used at Open University to facilitate education. Effective tutorials happen where there is good interaction between a tutor and students, as well as among learners themselves. Improving the success of an online tutorial ensures that learning is carried out more successfully. However, tutorials require creativity and innovation in their presentation of material to keep students active and engaged. Educational institutions should adopt and innovate on the appropriate learning media due to the growth of internet users, among them the large number of Generation Y in Indonesia. Vlogs, or video blogs, are a learning media innovation that needs to be developed further. The purpose of this study was to determine students’ perceptions of the use of vlogs as a learning media tutorial for three courses in the Open University English Education program. The results of the study show that vlogs play a significant role in the online tutorial.
