Akrostomma gabriella n. sp.from Southern California, with Comments on the Genus (Acari: Labidostomatidae)

Popis:	Akrostomma gabriella Crossley and Simmons is described as new, and Labidostomma plumosum Greenberg is transferred to the genus Akrostomma, bringing the number of known species in the genus to five. Habitats of the mites are discussed.
