Popis: In order to study high-speed machining mechanism and optimize machining parameter, the technique coupling numerical simulation of high-speed machining process and case-based reasoning (CBR) is proposed. The process of high-speed machining auto panel dies is simulated with FEM and the most appropriate high-speed machining parameters are selected. A high-speed machining parameters database for auto panel dies with case-based reasoning is developed and integrated into UG NX3 system. The research result is applied to productive practice and its effect is perfect.
