Data collection tools in this study included demographic data form and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Result: There was a statistically significant difference between the mean PSQI scores of pre- test (9.21±2.65), and after 4 weeks post-test (5.67±1.78). As the computed p value is less than 0.001, the null hypothesis is rejected. Therefore breathing exercises is one of the non-pharmacological interventions effective in improving sleep quality.
